VIOLENT NEW BREED

Formed by Max Green (best known as the Co-Founder/bassist of Escape the Fate) in 2019, the Las Vegas band Violent New Breed is bringing us a fresh new take on the metal genre.

Shortly after forming and before the pandemic, the band struck a deal with SBG records and released their debut full-length album titled “Bad Reputation” featuring their breakout song “Bury Me” ft. Howard Jones (Killswitch Engage) quickly gathered over 1 million views in just a few days.

Ready to head out on the road the world was struck by the pandemic and the band was faced with the question of what to do next. With an opportunity in front of them to change and evolve with the times, Green decided to pivot directions musically and create a new sound and lineup.

Recruiting guitar player Garrett Lowery, the duo began writing new music and quickly caught the attention of Bobby Schubenski (Owner of Blackcraft Cult Clothing) and Danny Wimmer (Danny Wimmer Presents) leading them to be guests on the highly successful “DWPresents That Space Zebra Show” hosted by Bobby Schubenski and Josh Balz (motionless in white) on Twitch, as well as their own mini-series called “The Vocalist” where open auditions were held to find the band a new singer. After weeks of submissions and the help of the collective audience, they welcomed Albert Schweizer into the group.

Following the addition of the new vocalist VNB announced their first single “Bloody Lip Season” which was released on 3.4.22 and right after the studio with producer Hiram Hernandez (The Word Alive, Dragged Under, Avoid) shortly after. The band recorded 3 more tracks and released their next single titled, “Sanctuary” on 4.22.22. They were then joined by drummer Matt Lueck to complete the lineup.

Building momentum off their new sound, the band was then called upon by ex-bandmates in Escape The Fate to support them on the 12th-anniversary tour of their self-titled album “The Dead Masquerade” alongside The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus.

Following the success of their first tour, Violent New Breed is back in the studio with producer Hiram Hernandez and will be hitting the road in early 2023.
